Everything's an act when you're pleasing everyone...
Tall. Brown hair. Brown eyes. Hot. That about summarizes Jason - he's very attractive, and he knows it. He's got a lean face and defined features, and an athlete's build, having played a variety of sports all through school. His usual style of dress is not exactly what you'd expect of a typical high school student, a little too clean and neat, white shirts with collars and khaki pants, that sort of thing - it's not so much the years of Catholic school that did that to him, as parents who insisted he keep up the family image. His smile is what really draws attention to him, a lazy, confident grin that somehow manages to be charming rather than irritating in its almost cockiness.
Not all tales have happy endings, we can't keep pretending...
Jason and his twin sister, Nadia, are the children of a judge and a nearly anorexic Valium addict... yeah, that's a recipe for a fucked up childhood right there. Jason was mostly expected to carry on the McConnell legacy, become a lawyer, become a judge, get appointed to the Supreme Court... no pressure or anything. He and Nadia went to Catholic school for pretty much all of their lives, which of course made them want to rebel in every little way they could find. When they started high school, Jason met a boy named Peter and fell head over heels in love with him. It took two years for either of them to get up the courage to say anything - for those two years, they were best friends, and after that, boyfriends. They kept their secret from absolutely everyone, because if the school found out, they'd probably be severely punished and their classmates would shun them... and if Jason's father found out, he would doubtless kick the crap out of Jason. Things sort of went to hell at the end of senior year, though. Peter started pushing to come clean about their relationship, to his mother at least, and Jason completely flipped out, breaking up with him just before spring break - and then sleeping with Nadia's friend Ivy in one last-ditch effort to be normal. After spring break turned out not much better, as Ivy told Jason she was pregnant, his former relationship with Peter became public at the school, the priest condemned him and told him to ignore whatever feelings he might have, and Peter refused to accept Jason's plea to take him back. Backstage at the school performance of Romeo and Juliet, in which Jason played Romeo, he took a lethal dose of GHB, and died on stage.
Here in a world where there's safety in falsehood...
Jason's room is the Inn has been his home since he died. It's not a perfect copy of his and Peter's dorm room from St. Cecilia's, but does share some similarities. The posters and decorations and stuff are all the same (including some of Peter's stuff), the closet has more clothes that aren't school uniforms (actually, none of the clothes are uniforms, thankfully), and most noticable, there is one large bed as opposed to two twin beds.
